Just a quick review as Sunday night draws to a close and “proper” work rears its head (as does getting the kids up early enough to get to school in the morning). Decline The Fall, like many bands, suffered over the last couple of years, but they must be really pissed off as they moved all the way from Malta to Slovenia to get better access to gigs and so on… and then everything got locked down. Hopefully they’ll have a bit more luck as the situation changes!
They’ve not wasted the time, though, and the fruits of their labour are beginning to show with “S I N I S T E R”, the video for which was dropped last week. A hard rock / metal number with some catchy riffs and a powerful drop or three, it’s their first music released since 2020 and a sign of what to expect for their upcoming second album.
You can hear the band really letting it all go from the opening drum beats to the angry vocals. They blend well with the melodic sections and the whole song has a great flow, as well as a neck-breaking rhythm. Scroll down, press play!
