Grammy-nominated and Platinum-certified modern rock dynamos I Prevail have teamed up with alt-goth meets grunge singer Amira Elfeky for their explosive new collaborative track, “Paradise”. The song manages the rare feat of transporting listeners to a heavenly place whilst making several hellacious pitstops along the way, delivering a truly unique moment for both artists.
The track sees both forces collide in a way that is emotional, epic, and opposingly ferocious. Loaded with glitchy electronics, haunting cinematic keys, and pummeling percussion, the single relies on the stunning juxtaposition of Eric Vanlerberghe’s commanding, deep-from-hell howls and Elfeky’s alternating cooed and spewed vocals. The vocal pairing coils like a snake amid the metallic fracas, leaving the listener feeling like a voyeur witnessing an intense, passionate battle of words between partners. Ultimately, “Paradise” slices and scars just as much as it soothes.
Speaking about how the track came to life, the band stated: “We’ve been fans of Amira for a while. She has such a distinct sound and style. The opportunity to write together came up super organically and we instantly connected on this crazy concept for a song. We all saw the vision for it almost right away. That’s a rare and beautiful thing when it happens. We still don’t think we know exactly what we made. We never had to stop to think about it. We just made it.” It proves exactly how the most memorable art is formed—by completely bypassing overthinking, diving right in, and allowing it to take shape naturally.
To celebrate the release, the Michigan outfit will embark on a massive headline tour this autumn in support of their latest album, Violent Nature. This 2026 tour promises to bring an entirely different level of modern metalcore energy to these shores. Main support for the entire run will come from Polaris and Amira Elfeky.
