Award-winning independent blues-rock duo When Rivers Meet have unveiled the official music video for their dark, hypnotic new single, “Caught In The Middle.” The track serves as the third single lifted from their highly anticipated upcoming album, Rhythm Rust & Static.
Due to unforeseen vinyl manufacturing delays, the release date for the new record has shifted slightly and is now officially scheduled to drop on 19th June 2026. As a completely self-managed and independent act, the husband-and-wife team of Grace and Aaron Bond made the conscious decision to hold the release back briefly to guarantee the physical presentation matches their exact standards. “We’re sorry for the delay and truly appreciate everyone’s patience and support,” Grace and Aaron share. “We promise it’ll be worth the wait.”
“Caught In The Middle” explores the psychological push and pull of a head-versus-heart dilemma, layering soulful vocals over a biting, barbed-wire guitar hook. “The song leans into that restless feeling of being stuck between two choices and not quite knowing which way you’re going to fall,” Grace explains. Aaron adds, “We wanted the music to mirror that tension. The groove keeps pulling you back in, almost like you can’t quite escape it.” The new track continues the massive momentum generated by previous acclaimed singles “The Script” and “The Tide Is Turning,” which recently secured major tastemaker praise across the rock press landscape.
Following their previous Top 4 UK chart success with 2025’s Addicted To You and a staggering three consecutive “Band of the Year” wins at the UK Blues Awards, the duo will support the new record with an extensive UK headline tour running from July through October.
