Nashville’s blues-infused Southern rockers Parker Barrow have returned with a double-hit of news, announcing their highly anticipated sophomore album Hold the Mash alongside the release of their latest single, “Blinded”. The track, which dropped on 29th April, serves as a gritty introduction to the band’s 2026 output and is available now on all major streaming platforms.
The upcoming album, scheduled for release on Friday, 17th July (pre-order here), features a collection of songs from last year’s Hold the Mash E.P., including “Make It” and “The Healer”, bolstered by four brand-new tracks. Drummer and founder Dylan Turner penned the new single alongside guitarist Alex Bender, who describes the track as having a “Stonesy” riff that embraces a “less is more” philosophy. Turner adds that the lyrics serve as a personal reminder to seek a higher purpose rather than fleeting digital validation.
Led by the husband-and-wife duo of Megan Kane and Dylan Turner, the band has built a reputation for “vintage-shop rock” that seamlessly blends soul, blues, and heavy Southern swagger. Following a summer stint in the U.S., the band will head across the Atlantic for their first-ever UK headline tour this July, which includes high-profile appearances at the Steelhouse and Maid of Stone festivals.
