I Ya Toyah takes a stand with industrial new single “Feelings” – video streaming now

Chicago-based industrial force I Ya Toyah has returned with a brand-new single, “Feelings”, and it’s a bit of a heavy hitter. Dropping officially on 8th May 2026, the track is a sharp, jagged industrial statement that isn’t afraid to hold a mirror up to the state of the world today. If you’ve been feeling like everything is a bit too loud, too fake, and far too curated lately, this is probably going to be your new favourite anthem.

The song hits back at a culture driven by performative outrage and manipulation, but it’s not just a political rant. It’s deeply personal, born from a mix of frustration and emotional overload. I Ya Toyah (whose name translates from Polish as “It’s just me”) is a proper one-woman army. She handles everything from the songwriting and production to the lighting for her live shows. It’s that DIY spirit that has seen her climb to the top of the industrial charts, particularly following a cracking remix of her song “Pray” by the legends in Stabbing Westward.

The new track is also a teaser for the third part of her latest album project, following on from the success of Drama. Known for her versatile voice and dark, electronic textures, she has become a staple of the scene, collaborating with the likes of PIG, Front Line Assembly, and even the 50-member supergroup The Joy Thieves.

Beyond the music, she’s a fierce advocate for mental health and animal rights, often putting her money where her mouth is by donating a chunk of her sales to charity. “Feelings” is more than just a tune; it’s a refusal to be controlled and a push for genuine connection in a world that often feels detached. Keep your eyes peeled for the official music video, which is set to land the same day as the single.
