Chicago-based industrial force I Ya Toyah has returned with a brand-new single, “Feelings”, and it’s a bit of a heavy hitter. Dropping officially on 8th May 2026, the track is a sharp, jagged industrial statement that isn’t afraid to hold a mirror up to the state of the world today. If you’ve been feeling like everything is a bit too loud, too fake, and far too curated lately, this is probably going to be your new favourite anthem.
The song hits back at a culture driven by performative outrage and manipulation, but it’s not just a political rant. It’s deeply personal, born from a mix of frustration and emotional overload. I Ya Toyah (whose name translates from Polish as “It’s just me”) is a proper one-woman army. She handles everything from the songwriting and production to the lighting for her live shows.
