Greek heavy metal outfit (and former Headline Act) Social Scream have made a powerful return with the announcement of their latest full-length album, Setup To Transformation. Described as more than just a typical release, the band frames the project as a “multidimensional experience” that explores dark psychological themes and philosophical inquiries.
Formed in 2008, the band aims to push the boundaries of their sound on the new record, blending explosive riffs with complex rhythmic structures. As a first look into this new era, Social Scream have shared the official music video for their new single, “The Unified Field”, which captures the core aesthetic and philosophy of the upcoming album.
Setup To Transformation was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Athens’ Dimons Creative Studio with producer Dimitris Sakkas, featuring vocal recordings overseen by Louis Vlahakis at Think Recording Studio. Notably, the album’s distinct tone was shaped by custom handmade guitars from Pappas Handmade Custom Guitars.
