Party Cannon drop new EP, ‘Subjected To A Partying’, and “Parisian Bedbug” video – tour imminent

Scotland’s premier purveyors of “party slam,” Party Cannon, have officially unleashed their latest EP, Subjected To A Partying, today via Unique Leader Records (stream / order it now). If you’ve been following the Dunfermline loons for a while, you’ll know they don’t exactly do things by halves – unless we’re talking about their collective IQ during a particularly heavy breakdown.

To celebrate the release, the band have also shared a brand-new video for the track “Parisian Bedbug”. It’s exactly the kind of delightful chaos we’ve come to expect from the guys. You can check out the video below and see why they’ve earned a reputation as one of the most entertaining (and loudest) exports to come out of Fife in recent years.

The new EP follows a busy period for the band, who seem to have spent the last year playing every festival under the sun. Bassist Clankenstein mentioned that they wanted to give fans a “taste of the new low the band has sunk to” rather than making everyone wait years for another full-length record. We actually caught up with the band a while back to talk about their touring plans and why they have the only colourful logo on every festival poster – check out Ricky’s interview with Chris Ryan here.

This release also marks the first outing with new vocalist Daryl “The Frogman” Boyce. According to the band, his vocals sound like “unfettered pressurized sewerage,” which in the world of slam metal, is a glowing five-star review. They’ve even recruited a “performance” member, Vominic Stonebones, to add to the live madness.
