Upstate New York’s Fight From Within have been moving like a freight train lately, and they’ve just kept the momentum going with the release of their latest single, “Let Me Out”. The track comes via their new partnership with Arson Theory and was produced by none other than Pablo Viveros (formerly of Chelsea Grin). If you’ve followed the band since their 2021 debut, you’ll know they don’t do things by halves, and this new one is no exception – capturing all the raw, beatdown-heavy energy they’ve become known for.
The band were clearly in a playful mood during the session, as “Let Me Out” actually comes with a cheeky little surprise. Attached to the release is a hidden track titled “TATT”, which stands for “Tired All The Time”. It’s not exactly a love letter to the industry, either; the band have described it as a bit of a vent regarding their frustrations with the current state of the scene. They wanted the release to be intense and “trippy”, and having two tracks for the price of one certainly does the trick.
Since forming in 2021, these guys have been carving out a space where metalcore, hardcore, and beatdown meet. You can hear bits of everything from Every Time I Die to Polaris in their sound, which explains why they’ve already managed to bag slots at massive US festivals like Sonic Temple and Louder Than Life. We’ve kept a close eye on them ourselves, especially back in 2025 when they teamed up with Saving Vice for that cracking vocal-swap collaboration.
The lads are heading out on a massive US run this spring, but for those of us on this side of the pond, there’s good news on the horizon too. They’ve recently signed with Timeframe Booking for European dates, so it shouldn’t be too long before we see them hitting some UK stages.
