The Amity Affliction reveal new album ‘House of Cards’ – title track video streaming now

Aussie metalcore heavyweights The Amity Affliction have officially pulled back the curtain on their ninth studio album. Titled House of Cards, the record is set to drop on 24th April 2026 via Pure Noise Records. This one marks a significant milestone for the lads, as it’s the first full-length effort to feature clean vocalist Jonny Reeves, who stepped into the role permanently last year.

To celebrate the news, the band have shared the title track, “House of Cards”, complete with a new music video directed by Daniel Daly. It’s a heavy hitter in more ways than one; frontman Joel Birch has been very open about the song’s inspiration, which stems from the complicated and often traumatic relationship he and his siblings shared with their late mother. Birch noted that while the subject matter is dark, the process of navigating that shared history has actually brought him and his siblings closer together.

The new record looks set to build on the momentum of 2025’s single “All That I Remember”, which kept fans going while the band were busy touring across the globe. With over two decades in the game and a billion streams under their belts, the Gympie quartet aren’t showing any signs of slowing down. The gritty, emotional intensity of the new single proves they’ve still got plenty to say.

While the band are currently busy touring Australia and heading to the States this spring, we’re still waiting for the next batch of UK dates to be pinned down. Given their history of crushing it on British soil, it’s only a matter of time before they head back our way.
