Siska drop “Broken Dreams” video featuring Tim “Ripper” Owens

Italian hard rockers Siska are keeping the momentum going following the January release of their second album, Broken Dreams. The band has just unveiled the official music video for the title track, and they’ve brought some serious heavy metal royalty along for the ride. None other than Tim “Ripper” Owens (KK’s Priest, ex-Judas Priest) features on the record, lending his legendary pipes to the cause.

The production pedigree on this one is top-tier, too. The album was mixed and mastered by the iconic Max Norman, a man who knows a thing or two about making guitars roar having worked with the likes of Ozzy Osbourne and Megadeth. The video for “Broken Dreams” is a bit of a cinematic first, too—the band are the first to film in the Italian town of Tresigallo. Known for its surreal, “utopian” architecture that inspired artist Giorgio de Chirico, it’s the perfect moody backdrop for a song about shattered ambitions and silent melancholy.

These guys are no strangers to the big stage, having previously opened for KISS in Spain and shared bills with everyone from Whitesnake to Skid Row. While the band is currently busy promoting the new record, there are whispers of a European tour with Tim “Ripper” Owens on the horizon. We’ll be keeping our ears to the ground for any UK dates, but in the meantime, you can check out the new video below.
