The Moshville Times - Knocked Loose team up with Denzel Curry for new single / video “Hive Mind”

The heavyweights in Knocked Loose have shared a brand-new track, “Hive Mind”, featuring none other than Denzel Curry. As one of the most prominent heavy bands on the scene right now, the Kentucky five-piece have pulled Curry – a known fan of hardcore and metal – into their world for a massive crossover that actually works. The song comes with a music video directed by Eric Richter and vocalist Bryan Garris, filmed at a legendary skate spot in their hometown of Louisville.

Talking about the collaboration, Garris says it’s something they’ve wanted to do for ages. They were unsure if they could pull it off, but they knew from the start that it had to be Denzel Curry because “he gets it.” This marks the first new music from the band since their 2024 album, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, which featured the Grammy-nominated “Suffocate” with Poppy.

That record went down a storm last year, picking up praise from everyone from Kerrang! to The Guardian for its sheer intensity. It even landed them a performance on late-night US telly. After a decade of sharpening their sound – from their debut EP Pop Culture to the skull-crushing Laugh Tracks and A Different Shade of Blue – the band are now playing some of the biggest stages in the world.
