Hungarian speed maniacs Türböwitch unleash hell with new single / video “Cult Mastery”

Budapest’s finest speed metal nutters, Türböwitch, are back with a vengeance. They’ve just dropped “Cult Mastery”, the second single from their upcoming third full-length album, Under Haunted Skies. If you like your metal fast, filthy, and sounding like it was forged in a basement in 1984, this is right up your street.

The new track is a proper breakneck anthem, blending that blackened speed-thrash ferocity with the kind of galloping riffs that’ll have you reaching for a cold one and heading straight for the pit. According to the band, the song deals with the rise of madness and false gods under “cursed heavens” – standard Tuesday afternoon stuff in the world of extreme metal, then.

We’ve been following these guys for a while now. They first popped up on our radar back in late 2025 when they signed with Time To Kill Records. Since winning the Hungarian Metal Battle and tearing up the stage at Wacken Open Air in 2024, they’ve been on a bit of a tear across Europe, even hitting the road with Enforcer last year. This new material sounds like their most focused assault yet, drawing comparisons to the likes of Midnight, The Crown, and Hellripper.
