Dutch black metal outfit Saille have dropped a brand new single and video titled “Deception of Decadence”. The track is taken from their upcoming sixth studio album, Forebode, which is set to hit the shelves on 13th February 2026 via Non Serviam Records.
The new song is a fairly bleak affair, described as a “chilling descent into existential voids”. It seems the band are exploring some pretty heavy themes this time around, with the lyrics diving into the struggle between darkness, pain, and the loss of identity.
Vocalist Jesse Peetoom gives a bit more insight into the track:
“The lyrics portray an inner battle with darkness, pain and the slow draining of life and identity. They explore obsession with death, transcendence and the cycle of rise, growth and destruction. Occult imagery and invocations symbolize a desperate search for power, meaning or control. Ultimately it’s about enduring suffering while being drawn toward an isolated, self-defined infinity.”
The video itself, created by Tamara Llenas at Aimed & Framed, takes a 3D game style approach. According to Peetoom, it’s also “stuffed with easter eggs” and references to Saille’s back catalogue, so long-time fans might want to keep their eyes peeled.

Forebode will be available on digipak CD and digital formats. You can pre-order the physical copy, or grab the digital version via Bandcamp. You can also stream the new single at all the usual places.
