French rising star Lucie Sue is about to hit UK shores for her first headline tour, and she’s not coming quietly. To get us all in the mood, she’s just dropped a brand new single with arguably the best title of the year so far: “I Will Shit Where You Sleep”.
The track is out today, accompanied by a video directed by Remi Capdevielle and Raphael Gianelli which you can watch below. It’s a fierce, defiant anthem that takes the old “don’t shit where you sleep” idiom and flips it on its head. This isn’t a track for the faint-hearted; it’s a manifesto driven by a crushing rhythm and raw rage, tackling the hypocrisy of forced fidelity and societal norms.
Speaking about the track, Lucie explains:
Love is naturally expandable, much like the love for our children. Plural love only shocks us because of our upbringing. While some manage their plural relationships with intelligence and respect, others rush headlong into it, only to realize too late that their actions have consequences. Driven by cowardice and pure laziness, they crawl back to their cozy comforts and their dull routines, completely oblivious to the wreckage they leave in their wake. All that was worth a song, wasn’t it?
The single is taken from her latest album, Battlestation, which was released in 2025 and has been turning heads with its mix of 90s alt-rock grit and modern heavy production. If you haven’t given it a spin yet, now is the time.

Lucie is bringing the new material to life on stage across the UK starting later this month. The tour kicks off at Planet Rock’s Winter’s End Festival before hitting venues across the country. Leeds newcomers Face Palm are on board as main support, with Quiver co-headlining selected dates and Muddibrooke joining as a special guest for the Birmingham show.
