The self-styled glam punk goth ‘n’ roll outlaws, Gypsy Pistoleros, are back at it. They have just unleashed a new single, “Dark Faerie Tales”, which serves as the title track for their upcoming studio album. The single is out now, with the full album scheduled to land on April 17th via The New Church Records and Plastichead Distribution (pre-order now).
If you caught their last record, Church of the Pistoleros, you’ll know what to expect—a high-energy mix of sleaze, punk, and a dash of flamenco flair. This time around, they’re promising their most ambitious effort yet. The band describes the new material as a “fairytale for the damned,” pushing their sound into slightly darker territory while keeping that signature swagger intact.
Once again, the band have teamed up with producer Dave Draper. Given his track record with the likes of The Wildhearts, Terrorvision, and Therapy?, the production duties are clearly in safe hands. The album will be available on three-colour vinyl, CD, and digital formats.

To support the release, the guys are heading out on a decent run of UK dates this spring, with James Kennedy & The Underdogs joining them as special guests. They also have appearances booked for a few festivals, including Rebellion in Blackpool later in the summer.
