The Moshville Times - Stabbing unleash video for title track of upcoming album ‘Eon Of Obscenity’

Houston, Texas brutal death metal outfit Stabbing have premiered the official music video for “Eon Of Obscenity”, the crushing title track from their highly anticipated sophomore album. The full-length record is scheduled for release on January 30th, 2026, marking their debut with Century Media Records.

The new single offers a ferocious glimpse into the band’s latest chapter, combining their signature aurally violent assault with a terrifying lyrical concept. Commenting on the track, the band stated: “The lyrics in ‘Eon’ are mainly about the idea that someone with homicidal tendencies could hide it for years, and then one day just snap, and nobody in their life would ever see it coming. Like they decide to embrace their sickness and completely lose all morality.”

Since forming in 2021, Stabbing have quickly established themselves as a force within the genre, drawing influence from 90s and early 2000s legends like Disgorge and Deeds of Flesh while pushing the boundaries of speed and intensity. Their rise has been punctuated by high-profile touring slots alongside heavyweights such as Suffocation and Incantation, as well as appearances at Maryland Deathfest and Milwaukee Metalfest.

Eon Of Obscenity was recorded at Southwing Audio in Houston by engineer Ben Gott, with mixing and mastering handled by Chris Kritikos. The production aims to capture the raw, honest energy of the band’s performance without over-editing. Vocalist Bridget Lynch notes, “It feels more refined. The album shows the potential of what the band started as… We wanted to keep the raw sound that the classic bands had.”

The album features artwork by Rudi Yanto and includes a guest vocal appearance by Ricky Myers of Suffocation on the track “Nauseating Composition”.
