Symphonic metal veterans Ivory Moon are gearing up for a massive start to 2026. The band have just dropped the first official video from their upcoming album, The Silent Ruins of Mars, which is set to land in January via Elevate Records. The new track, “A Dream Can Change the World”, is available to stream now and gives punters a first proper taste of what the band have been cooking up.
With a career spanning over twenty years, the band aren’t exactly new to the scene, but this new record seems to mark a refreshed era for the group. The video showcases the epic, polished sound they’ve become known for, balancing their power metal roots with the symphonic elements that define the genre. It’s a solid return to form that pushes into new sonic territories while keeping the classic vibe alive.
The new album was recorded by Andrea Campisano and mixed and mastered by Christian Ice at Temple of Noise Studios in Rome. It features a hefty thirteen tracks and showcases the band’s current lineup, which includes the dual vocal attack of Patrizio Izzo and Loretta Venditti. They are backed by Luca Grossi and Fabrizio Zucchini on guitars, Fabrizio Sclano on bass, Fabio Bonuglia on keys, and Emiliano Cantiano behind the kit.
It’s not just the core band involved in this one, either. The Silent Ruins of Mars features some interesting guest spots, including Carlo Fiaschi of comedy-metal legends Nanowar of Steel on the track “In The End Is My Future”, as well as Angel Ruiz Mena of Sombras del Destino appearing on two other cuts. To top it off, the cover art was handled by Sergio Giardo, the illustrator known for the “Nathan Never” comic series, adding a nice visual flair to the release.
