Colorado deathcore heavyweights Crown Magnetar have today (November 25th) unveiled their latest single, “Desecrate Infinite”, via Unique Leader Records. The track arrives accompanied by an animated music video and marks a significant shift in the band’s lineup with the official addition of guitarist Rob Maramonte. Stream it from the usual places now.
Maramonte, known for his work with technical death metal outfits Fallujah and The Zenith Passage, as well as live stints with Thy Art Is Murder and All Shall Perish, initially joined the group as a fill-in before cementing his place as a permanent member. His arrival coincides with what vocalist Dan Tucker describes as a major “turning point” for the band.
“Our new single, ‘Desecrate Infinite’ is a turning point,” Tucker comments on the new release. “We have sharpened our blade once again. We pushed every boundary we could within our sound and have created the most aggressive and focused three minutes to date. This is a look into the future for what we have coming and it’s only the beginning of the next era of Crown Magnetar.”
The band’s recent output has been nothing short of prolific. Following 2024’s remixed and remastered version of The Prophet of Disgust EP, the Punishment EP showcased four tracks described as “punchy songs, all written to smash everything to pieces”. With producer-turned-bassist Mike Sahm at the helm for this latest recording, the band are ensuring their sonic vision remains as uncompromising as ever, continuing a release-a-year streak that has kept their fanbase constantly engaged.

The release of “Desecrate Infinite” comes just ahead of the band’s extensive European and UK tour alongside Chelsea Grin, Signs Of The Swarm, and Mugshot. The trek includes a run of shows across the UK in early December.
