Serpentyne release video for “Dangerous Mind”

Symphonic metal powerhouse Serpentyne has released a new music video for the track “Dangerous Mind”. The song is taken from their latest album, Tales From The Dark, which is out now via Rockshots Records.

Born from the creative vision of vocalist and composer Maggiebeth Sand, Serpentyne has evolved over the years, blending orchestral grandeur with modern metal aggression. The band, often drawing comparisons to giants of the genre such as Nightwish, Within Temptation and Eluveitie, has captured the attention of fans worldwide. Their new album, Tales From The Dark, showcases a bold new era for the band, presenting a sound that is heavier and more dynamic than their previous work.

The new single, “Dangerous Mind”, is a fast-paced onslaught of down-tuned 8-string riffs, driving rhythms, and commanding dual vocals. The band describes a middle section that bursts into “chugging goodness,” underscoring their commitment to blending ferocity with symphonic depth.

Lyrically, the track embodies defiance and individuality. It portrays a character who lives for danger and speed, unafraid to fight back and unwilling to conform to societal norms. With its anthemic chorus proclaiming, “I have a dangerous mind”, the song serves as both a battle cry and a declaration of inner strength.

The accompanying video translates this raw energy into a visual format, amplifying the track’s urgency and thematic darkness. Together, the song and video highlight Serpentyne’s ability to craft a cinematic yet aggressive metal experience, confirming their evolution into one of the most compelling acts in the symphonic metal scene today.

“Dangerous Mind” follows the previous singles “Prophetess of Dreams” and “Run For Your Life”, which further expand the immersive narrative of Tales From The Dark.

The tracklist for Tales From The Dark is:

  1. Prophetess Of Dreams

  4. Ghosts Of Times Past
  5. Run For your Life
