Black Label Society unleash “Broken and Blind” ahead of new album

Black Label Society have unveiled their latest single, “Broken and Blind”, available now via MNRK Heavy / Spinefarm Records. This track marks the third single from the band, following “Lord Humungus” (released in 2025) and “The Gallows” (from 2024), all leading up to their highly anticipated new studio album, which is scheduled for release in early 2026.

“Broken and Blind” can be streamed and purchased across all major digital platforms. Fans can also watch the official music video, directed by long-time collaborator Justin Reich, on YouTube.

Frontman and legendary guitarist Zakk Wylde offered his unique perspective on the new track, stating: “What’s going on gang? This is Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society. This is a new song called ‘Broken and Blind’. The song is about peanut butter and chocolate and what happens when you don’t have any of it. My soul is broken and I’m blind with rage if I don’t have any peanut butter and chocolate, so there you go, it’s a new song called ‘Broken and Blind’. Thank you, have a great day.”

Founded in Los Angeles, California, in 1998 by Zakk Wylde, Black Label Society has carved out a significant niche in the heavy metal scene. Wylde, renowned for his work with Ozzy Osbourne and as a guitarist for Pantera’s Legacy Celebration tour since 2022, has steered Black Label Society through a prolific career. Their debut album, Sonic Brew, was released in 1998, followed by fan favourites such as Mafia in 2005 and Doom Crew Inc. in 2021. The band has an extensive discography, boasting eleven studio albums, two live albums, and one EP to date, with the upcoming twelfth full-length studio album set to further expand their legacy in 2026.
