German heavy metal veterans Rage have unleashed their brand-new album, A New World Rising, today via SPV/Steamhammer worldwide (excluding Japan). The release is accompanied by a new music video for the track “Fire In Your Eyes”, which is out now.
The song is dedicated to the dedication of the band’s fanbase. Frontman and founder Peavy Wagner commented on the track: “This song is a love letter to the Rage and metal fans, celebrating their passion for the music and the strong sense of community it creates. We feel this spirit at every concert and festival around the world—it defines the unity of the scene and is reflected in fan clubs like Metality, who also engage in social projects with an inclusive mindset. An anthem that honours this spirit!”
A New World Rising—which is being hailed by critics as “a monumental statement that catapults Rage straight into the top tier of the genre” (Metal-Heads.de)—features the trio of Peavy Wagner (bass, vocals), Jean Bormann (guitars), and Vassilios „Lucky“ Maniatopoulos (drums). The album offers a thrashing, heavy sound blended with a positive and creative approach.
