Modern metal band Ghosther have unleashed their latest single, “Control” — a hard-hitting alternative metal track carrying a socially critical message. The song shines a light on media manipulation and power structures while calling for resistance, awareness, and inner strength.
Packed with driving riffs, harsh growls, emotive clean vocals, and an earworm chorus, “Control” was recorded at Sawdust Studio with Christoph Wieczorek (Annisokay, Electric Callboy) at the helm. It’s a track for anyone refusing to stay silent in the face of powerlessness.
Since their debut Through Fire (2019) and follow-up Immersion (2022), Ghosther have built a reputation for combining emotion, hooks, and heaviness. Their 2024 self-titled EP further cemented their status as a formidable live act.
The band are also set to make a leap into television, appearing in a brand-new romantic comedy series on German TV next year — adding yet another chapter to their evolving story.
With “Control” and their upcoming TV project, Ghosther continue to prove themselves as one of Germany’s most exciting modern metal acts: diverse, powerful, and moving confidently into the next stage of their career.
