Nest of Plagues release first video from upcoming album

Have you ever felt lonely at a party even though you were surrounded by your closest friends? Have you ever felt completely isolated mentally, despite the fact that you were not alone and your family and friends were there to support you?

“Suffer Together” is the first song from Nest of Plagues’ third concept album. It deals with the topic of social loneliness, wearing a glittering robe in its music video – no matter if you have a bathtub of money and if the champagne is flowing in the party bus, if your loneliness eats you up inside. Out in September, Hellsolation tells a personal and honest story of how the band dealt with the feeling of isolation and mental health issues over the years.

Dani:

Five years ago I was diagnosed with OCD, i.e. obsessive compulsive disorder. On our previous album, To Kill A God, we mainly wrote about how I tried to live with this disease that makes everyday life miserable. Hellsolation continues this direction, but approaches these increasingly common problems in modern society from a different angle. This time, the lyrics mainly tell my own personal story, but there are also stories of people around us who similarly struggle with loneliness and other mental difficulties. The lesson in all of this is that no matter what you do, in the end you can only count on yourself – and this is not a negative message by any means, because every single person can say about themselves that there is one certain point in their lives, only that happens to be themselves. You can do things to feel better, find your own supportive environment and face your fears.
