Video Premiere: Footprints in the Custard – “Barren Field Of Fucks”

Lawks-a-lordy, the nutters are back. They blew everyone away (I emphasise “away” though you know what these after-show parties are like) at Bloodstock 2021, premiered this track on Shells’ show on Moshville Radio the other day and now we’ve been asked to sully our website with a video rendition of it, another of their foul-mouthed creations.

Some bumph follows to try and make them sound good, and if you’re not too disgusted by the end of it you can pre-save the track on Spotify so that you can “enjoy” it from tomorrow.

Silly lyrics, with not so silly music! If the band is new to you then pull up your socks and get on board with Manchester’s biggest barrel of laughs, Footprints In The Custard. Upbeat and hard hitting on the ears, smooth and creamy on the palette, and sight to behold on stage.

“Barren Field of Fucks” is Footprints in the Custard at their most angry and aggressive, encapsulating the building frustration that the past two years has wrought. It’s still daft, it’s still definitely Footprints, but it’s a Footprints that have grown tired of the world’s bullshit, a feeling we’re sure many can relate to right now.

The video comes courtesy of Kieran Scott from Ashen Crown, and the track features some audio sauciness from Jakk Perkins at Second Star Audio (Evil Scarecrow).

If you want to see the band try and excuse themselves for drafting such low-brow piffle by blaming other people for it (erm… including ourselves), then they can be found chattering about it on YouTube.
