The song is taken from their Landungsfeldmassaker EP which was released last year by Dead Center productions. The EP is available both digitally and on CD.

The band name “Aschenvater” is inspired by the universe of Warhammer 40K, which also serves as content for that first EP, Landungsfeldmassaker. It is about a battle on Istvaan V, the drop site massacre (Landungsfeldmassaker). The sound is raw and destructive, like the rotting battlefields.
The style is comparable to bands like Bolt Thrower or Hail of Bullets. Old school death metal is the perfect way for the band to bring the content and the energy of the lyrics together with the music.
