Saturday Video Roundup: The Dollyrots, Lola Black, Harbinger, Bodyheat, Avenged Sevenfold, Full of Hell

A huge pile to get through from last week so hopefully nobody will send us any new ones over the weekend…

The Dollyrots – “City of Angels”

Their new album Whiplash Splash continues to thrill fans and media on both sides of the Atlantic, but that doesn’t mean California’s bubblegum punk duo The Dollyrots are letting up! Far from it in fact, as they are happy to present their latest lyric video for the song “City Of Angels” for your listening and viewing pleasure.

Lola Black – “Dead To Me”

Denver, Colorado based hard rock band Lola Black have released the teaser for their upcoming full length album, an official music video for their Bob Marlette produced, new single, “Dead To Me.” The band will also be re-releasing their EP Till Death Do Us Part via The Label Group on the same day as “Dead To Me”, May 5th.

Harbinger – “The End Of Time”

London metal riff machines Harbinger have released new video, “The End Of Time”, taken from their blistering new EP Human Dust out 16 June.

To coincide with the video release, physical pre-orders of Human Dust have officially been launched via Basick Supplies, where the EP is available in various formats. The band are also giving away a limited edition Harbinger pin badge to the first 50 people that pre-order the new EP.

Bodyheat – “Awake”

Essex isn’t usually known for it’s indie/emo offerings but this time it’s been kind and given us the gift of Bodyheat. Coming in strong with their new banger, “Awake”, Bodyheat draws influence from bands like Turnover and Pity Sex whilst tipping their proverbials to Built To Spill and more popular leanings like Tears For Fears.

Avenged Sevenfold – “God Damn”

Avenged Sevenfold have premiered their new video, “God Damn”. Directed by Anders Rostad, “God Damn” was shot in a Los Angeles warehouse filled with fans.

Full of Hell – “Trumpeting Ecstasy”

Full Of Hell share a new video for their title track “Trumpeting Ecstasy”, taken from their rapidly incoming album of the same name (Profound Lore, 5th May). The quartet are widely known for their visceral fury but this track is bespoke in its sinister and jagged haunting nature, amplified by the presence of guest vocalist Nicole Dollanganger. The video is written, shot and edited by Jordan Musheno and Ian Killian, the sample in the audio is provided by Lee Buford, with guest bass by Kurt Ballou, who also recorded the album.
