[avatar user=”Lara” size=”50″ align=”left” /]Following the recent announcement of incoming EP Drop Out, Best Years have unveiled the video for lead single “Overrated”. If nudity, cute dogs and catchy pop punk are your bag, you’re sure to be hitting the replay button imminently.
“We think it’s three songs that’ll show what we’re made of,”
states Joel Plews, vocalist with Manchester Pop Punks, Best Years, discussing the aforementioned E.P Drop Out;
“The members of this band have all ‘dropped out’ of reality in order to fully commit to this band; the title is meant as an encouragement for people to drop out of boring routines and start afresh doing something they love, to chase their dreams.”
Completed by bassist Josh Holland, guitarists Ed Lawson and James Hunt, and drummer Josh Berzins. Best Years sophomore outing is loaded with nostalgic melody and sparkling guitars, each of its three songs a self contained summery mini-anthem.
