Straight off the release of their wonderful fourth studio album, For Your Consideration, Pennsylvanian rock favourites Don’t Panic are making their return to the UK at the height of summer. The quartet – Ted, Zach, Anthony, and AJ – will be heading back to British shores in July as main support for US hitmakers American Hi-Fi, marking Hi-Fi’s first UK headline shows in well over a decade.
Frontman Ted Felicetti is understandably buzzing about the run: “We are so BEYOND excited to head back to the UK for a fourth time. What makes it even more exciting is that we get to join the absolute LEGENDS in American Hi-Fi. Every time we come back overseas it gets better and better, and this time will be no exception!”
The tour will be the first opportunity for UK fans to hear new material like “Silent Engineer” and “Honest” live, alongside older staples like “Fall Of 99”. Taking elements of early 00s pop-punk and mixing them with a large scoop of heartfelt American rock ‘n’ roll, the band continues to refine a sound that should appeal to fans of Jimmy Eat World and Foo Fighters. We previously caught up with the band in 2023 at King Tut’s, and their momentum shows no signs of slowing down.
Full tour details for the UK dates are as follows:
- 7th July – Birmingham – O2 Institute 2
- 8th July – Manchester – Club Academy
- 9th July – London – O2 Academy Islington
For Your Consideration is out now via SmartPunk Records, with physical copies and bundles available through the band’s official store and Devil Dog Distro in the UK.
