Alt-rock veterans Deaf Havana have announced a comprehensive UK and Ireland headline tour this autumn to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their seminal breakthrough album, Fools and Worthless Liars. Ahead of playing a highly anticipated commemorative set at Slam Dunk Festival this weekend alongside The Home Team, the band will hit the road throughout October and November to perform the silver-certified landmark album in its entirety.
Originally released in 2011, the critically acclaimed record fundamentally altered the group’s trajectory, establishing them as a staple of British alternative rock. “Pretty much everything we have been able to do as a band has come from this record and we are eternally grateful for it,” the band reflects. “It’s beautiful and humbling to think about how much it has meant to so many of you lovely people. We’re going to be playing the album in full, along with a healthy selection of bangers on the side.” Adding massive weight to the nostalgic billing, Deaf Havana will be joined by long-time friends The Dangerous Summer, who are locked in to perform their own iconic 2009 album, Reach For The Sun, in full.
Presale tickets for the tour go live on Wednesday 27th May at 10:00 AM, with the general public ticket sale launching on Friday 29th May at 10:00 AM local time via the band’s official platform.
