Yes reschedule Fragile UK tour for 2027

Prog legends Yes have finally sorted the new dates for their “Fragile” UK tour, which is now set to roll out in May 2027. It’s a bit of a wait, but the good news is that if you’ve already got tickets, they’ll still be valid for the new shows. The band had to push things back while guitarist Steve Howe recovered from an operation, but they’re clearly ready to get back to it.

This tour is a big one for the purists, as the guys will be playing the 1971 classic Fragile from start to finish. That means you’ll get to hear “Roundabout”, “Heart of the Sunrise”, and “South Side of the Sky” in all their glory. It’s not just a nostalgia trip, though – they’re also promising a mix of tracks from across their massive career, including stuff from their upcoming 24th studio album, Aurora, which lands on 12th June.

Steve Howe reckons the original recording of Fragile was a “bold statement of creativity,” and it’s hard to argue with him. It was also the first time the band teamed up with artist Roger Dean, whose iconic work is basically synonymous with the band’s sound. To celebrate that, every show on the tour will feature a gallery of Dean’s artwork, so you can have a proper look at those legendary landscapes while the band do their thing.

We’ve been keeping an eye on the band for a while, and we even sat down with frontman Jon Davison a couple of years back to chat about his journey from a church choir to leading one of the biggest prog bands on the planet.

The current line-up features Howe and Geoff Downes alongside Davison, Billy Sherwood, and Jay Schellen. While most dates have been moved, punters in Bournemouth have drawn the short straw as that show couldn’t be rescheduled – refunds are on the way for you lot. On the flip side, they’ve added a new stop at the York Barbican to make up for it.

Tickets for the new dates go on sale Thursday 30th April at 10am.
