Wildfire Festival 2026 adds more names to the bill

It has taken a little while, but the crew behind Wildfire Festival 2026 have just dropped what should be the penultimate announcement for this year’s bash. We know you’ve been waiting patiently for more news on the lineup, and this latest update brings us closer to a final schedule for the weekend.

The festival returns to the hills of Wanlockhead from the 26th to the 28th of June 2026. If you’ve never been, it’s basically Scotland’s highest music festival, earning it the very literal #ROCKERSWITHALTITUDE tag. The latest additions are helping to flesh out the day splits, though the organisers have mentioned they still have a few more artists to confirm. Because of that, don’t get too attached to the current running order just yet, as it’ll likely get a bit of a tweak once those final acts are locked in.

The latest poster reveals a solid mix of talent across the three days:

  • Friday 26th June: Sisters Doll (Headliner), Pyroclast, Bad Actress, HardBuds, A New Nowhere, Six Year Silence, Carbon Replica.
  • Saturday 27th June: Blue Nation (Headliner), Midnite City, Apriori, Those Made Broken, Alabama Crow, Electron, The Rattlebacks, LN, Eld Varg, 13Scream.
  • Sunday 28th June: Thieves of Liberty (Headliner), Big Red Fire Truck, SkiesTurnBlack, Ransom, Fangslinger, The Heir Apparition, Holyrude Vault, Not Now Norman, Domapè, Permacrisis.

As we’ve seen in previous years, Wildfire always delivers a cracking atmosphere. We’ve covered the festival plenty of times before, and you can check out our review from a past event (all the way back in 2015!) to see why it’s a staple of the Scottish metal calendar. It’s a great weekend for punters who want a more intimate, community-focused vibe away from the massive corporate festivals.

The organisers are gearing up for a busy summer, and with the official social posts going live, the hype is definitely building. It’ll be summer before we know it, so if you’re planning on heading up to the highest village in Scotland for some top-tier rock and metal, now is the time to get your plans sorted. Don’t forget to use the hashtags #Wildfire2026 and #ScotlandRocksRadio when you’re sharing the news with your mates.

Keep your eyes peeled for that final announcement, which should wrap up the full bill very soon.
