The Moshville Times - Cardiacs and The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza head up final ArcTanGent 2026 announcement

The much-loved and award-winning ArcTanGent Festival has just revealed the final acts for this summer’s bash, and it’s a proper eclectic mix. Taking over Fernhill Farm near Bristol from 19th to 22nd August, the festival remains the ultimate melting pot for anyone who likes their music a bit weird, very heavy, or just plain brilliant.

Leading the charge are the legendary Cardiacs, who’ve been riding a massive wave of acclaim since dropping their LSD album last year. The lineup now features Mike Vennart (of Oceansize and Biffy Clyro fame), which only adds to the hype. We last saw Mike tearing things up with Empire State Bastard in Birmingham, where he proved he’s still one of the most visceral guitarists in the game.

Joining them are the recently reformed mathcore cult heroes The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, making their long-awaited UK debut after a blinding comeback at Furnace Fest. Other highlights in this final wave include Danish blackgaze masters MØL and the hauntingly talented A.A. Williams. Bristol’s own genre-bending Scaler and a live silent disco set from Battlesnake are also locked in, alongside a first-time appearance from punk powerhouse Witch Fever and a massive reunion for Youthmovies.

Organiser James Scarlett reckons this is their best-selling year yet, and with a lineup this stacked, it’s not hard to see why. We’ve spent many a muddy weekend at Fernhill Farm, and as we noted in our review of the 2025 edition, there really isn’t another festival in the country that captures this specific vibe so perfectly.
