Ripcord Fest 2026 brings post-metal goodness to Glasgow

If you like your music heavy, atmospheric, and loud enough to rattle the fillings in your teeth, you’ll want to clear your diary for March 21st. The folks at Ripcord Records have announced the lineup for Ripcord Fest 2026, a full-day takeover of the legendary Nice N Sleazy on Sauchiehall Street.

Known for championing the best in underground heavy music, the label has curated a lineup that promises to be an absolute belter for fans of post-rock, post-metal, and everything in between. It’s not just about volume, though there will be plenty of that; it’s about those crushing riffs and expansive soundscapes that make this scene so vibrant.

Headlining proceedings are Leeds post-metal heavyweights Hundred Year Old Man, who are sure to bring their intense, wall-of-sound performance to the Sleazy’s basement. Joining them are local favourites Codespeaker, whose 2024 album Scavenger remains a standout in the genre. The bill is stacked from top to bottom, featuring Indifferent Engine, Beneath A Steel Sky, Million Moons, Helve, Civil Service, Solars, and Wolves.

Speaking about the event, the label said: “We’re incredibly excited to bring all of these bands to Glasgow for what promises to be an outstanding day of post-rock, post-metal, and more.”

Tickets are on sale now, and given the capacity of the venue and the quality of this lineup, it’s worth grabbing one sooner rather than later. It’s shaping up to be a proper celebration of the underground community in one of Glasgow’s most iconic dive bars.
