The Moshville Times - Mother Vulture hit the road soon for massive UK headline tour

Bristol’s very own chaos-merchants, Mother Vulture, are packing the van and heading out across the UK for a massive run of headline dates early next year. If you like your riffs fuzzy, your grooves bouncy, and your energy levels bordering on the dangerous, you’ll want to get yourself down to one of these shows.

The band are hitting the tarmac fresh off the back of their sophomore album, Cartoon Violence. It’s a record that proves they aren’t suffering from any sort of second-album slump. The new material has been described as a frantic mix of old-school rock swagger and the high-octane energy of noughties hardcore. It’s a proper melting pot of sound, throwing in elements of stoner punk, desert rock, and even a dash of metalcore just to keep everyone on their toes.

If you haven’t managed to catch them live yet, you’re missing a trick. Mother Vulture have built a solid reputation for their live performance, tearing up stages at major festivals like Bloodstock, ArcTanGent, and Radar Festival. They’ve also cut their teeth supporting some heavy hitters, sharing bills with the likes of Skindred, Reef, Feeder, and ‘68.

Their last headline run saw multiple sold-out signs going up — their hometown show at Rough Trade Bristol hit capacity in just 48 hours — so don’t hang about if you want tickets for this run. The music press are certainly on board, with Classic Rock praising the “angular alt-rock verse grooves” of their recent single “Phoenix”, and Kerrang! dubbing them one of the most exciting new noises coming out of Britain right now.
