Fresh off the back of some massive career milestones – including a support slot with Iron Maiden and a historic performance at Black Sabbath’s “Back To The Beginning” tribute – Halestorm are switching gears. The band are already set to headline the Opus Stage at Download Festival this June, but once the mud has settled at Donington, Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger are keeping the party going, albeit a bit more quietly.
The duo have announced “Lzzy + Joe: Unplugged”, a short run of intimate shows taking in the UK and Ireland in June 2026. It is a rare chance to see the songs from their latest record, Everest (released last August), and the classics stripped right back to basics. We are talking no massive walls of amps here; just vocals, acoustic guitars, and piano.
Lzzy Hale is buzzing to bring this format across the pond:
“We are so pleased to announce that we are bringing the magic of our Unplugged experience to the UK! We are stripping back our rock show to the raw power of a voice, acoustic guitar and piano. Come join us for an intimate night of songs, stories, laughter and good times! See you there!”
The tour kicks off in Glasgow at the Garage – a venue significantly more intimate than the arenas they have been bothering lately – before heading south to Southampton and London, then hopping across the water to Dublin and Belfast. Given the size of the venues and the band’s current popularity, you will probably want to be quick on the draw when tickets go on sale.
General sale starts this Friday, 30th January at 10am, with various presales kicking off from Wednesday.
