Helicon Metal Festival VI reveals full line-up for 2026

If you’ve been looking for a decent excuse to book a weekend away in Warsaw, the organisers of Helicon Metal Festival might just have sorted it for you. The full line-up for the festival’s sixth edition has been announced, and it’s shaping up to be a cracker for anyone who likes their metal traditional, loud, and free of modern nonsense.

Taking place at the Odessa Club in the heart of the Polish capital on March 20th and 21st, 2026, this year’s event is keeping things exclusive. The bill features nine bands, with a massive eight of them making their Polish debut. It’s a rare chance to catch some of these acts in this part of the world, so fair play to the promoters for pulling it off.

Germany’s speed metal merchants Vulture are set to headline the Friday night, bringing their razor-sharp riffs to the stage. Then, closing out the festival on Saturday, we’ve got US legends Liege Lord. If Master Control is still in your regular rotation, you probably won’t want to miss that.

Rounding out the bill is a solid mix of heavy, power, and speed metal acts including Tyrann, Triumpher, Claymorean, Axetasy, Savaged, Mean Mistreater, and Animalize. It’s strictly for the “true metal” crowd – think white hi-tops, denim vests, and fists in the air.

Previous editions have seen the likes of Visigoth and Wytch Hazel grace the stage, establishing the festival as a bit of a pilgrimage for trad-metal fans. Tickets are on sale now, so get your flights booked and get involved.
