Swedish alternative metal band We Are The Catalyst have announced their return to the UK for a headline tour in February 2026. This run of dates will be their first headline tour in the UK in seven years and comes in support of their forthcoming, as-yet-untitled sixth album, which is expected to be released in late spring 2026.
Guitarist Kenny Boufadene shared his excitement about the announcement:
We love touring in the UK, and it has been way too long since we were there! Sometimes life just comes in between, and we also put a lot of focus on writing a ton of songs and a couple of albums in the past years, but now we are ready to gear up again! We can’t wait to meet our fellow Catalysts, and we have ambitions to do even more shows in the UK, hopefully in late 2026 or 2027.

We Are The Catalyst have operated as a fiercely independent band since their formation in Sweden in 2012. They famously handle all aspects of their career themselves, including songwriting, recording, mixing, mastering, music videos, marketing, and booking, giving them complete creative control.
The band is fronted by Cat Fey, noted for her captivating melodies, storytelling, and a voice built for anthems. Their most recent album, Friction, was released on November 29th, 2024, and received high praise, including a 9/10 review from Sweden Rock Magazine which hailed it as an “alternative masterpiece”.
