Tokyo-based progressive rock trio Green Milk From The Planet Orange have announced a massive European tour to kick off 2026. The band is hitting the road not just to perform, but to mark two significant milestones in their career: the 25th anniversary of the band’s formation, and a decade since bassist Damo joined the fold.
Formed by guitarist Dead K in 2001, the band has carved out a unique niche over the last two decades, becoming one of the most prominent acts in the Japanese prog-rock scene. They are known for channeling the essence of 1970s progressive music while pushing their sound—and often their physical endurance—to the extremes. This intensity is something they intend to bring to stages across the continent this winter.
Founder Dead K describes their mission statement for this trek vividly: “We will pierce through the frozen continent with our uniquely cathartic progressive rock.” He promises that fans can expect a career-spanning setlist, adding: “Expect a soul-stirring performance woven from both new and old songs created over their 25-year journey. Alongside revisiting familiar venues, we will explore many new places, sharing with audiences an ultimate live experience that pushes mind and body to the limit.”
Bassist Damo shares the enthusiasm for the double anniversary. “I’m very happy to be touring Europe on the 10th anniversary of my joining the band and the 25th anniversary of its formation,” he says. “We want to give a great performance for everyone who always welcomes us so passionately! Also, look forward to our new merch!”
The tour is a substantial undertaking, covering 27 cities across 11 countries including Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden. While the band spends much of January and early February on the mainland, they will cross the channel for three specific dates in the UK towards the end of the run.
