Bowling For Soup and Frank Turner announce extensive ‘Bowl My Bones’ UK tour for summer 2026

It might be one of the coldest weeks of the year so far, but pop punk legends Bowling For Soup are already heating things up for the height of summer 2026. In a move that has delighted fans of both genres, the Texan quartet have announced they will be teaming up with folk punk royalty Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls for a massive co-headline run dubbed the ‘Bowl My Bones’ tour.

The pairing follows a recently announced Australian tour together, which immediately sparked calls from British fans for a domestic leg. The friendship between the two acts, often described as one of rock’s most unlikely bonds, stretches back years. It began with frontman Jaret Reddick’s admiration for Turner’s songwriting and was cemented during the pandemic, where the two hosted weekly livestreams discussing everything from heavy metal to mental health.

What sets this tour apart from the standard rock run is the refreshing choice of venues. Stepping away from the usual circuit of dark indoor academies in major hubs, the ‘Bowl My Bones’ tour embraces the great outdoors and visits cities often overlooked by international touring bands. Notably, the itinerary includes two separate dates in Wales—a rarity for tours of this size—hitting both the Llangollen Pavilion and the historic Cardiff Castle. The tour also visits picturesque locations such as Lincoln Castle, The Piece Hall in Halifax, and the Scarborough Open Air Theatre, alongside a stop for Scottish fans at the O2 Academy in Glasgow.

Frank Turner expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming dates:

“I love summer, I love touring, and I really love Bowling For Soup. So let’s cut to the chase and do them all at the same time! These shows are going to be a lot of fun, I’m honoured to be part of the adventure.”

Bowling For Soup’s Jaret Reddick shares the sentiment, noting the personal significance of the collaboration:

“Discovering Frank Turner’s music happened at an important time in my life. I needed it, but I didn’t know how much. Now, many years later, I get to call him friend, and touring with him and The Sleeping Souls in his home country of the UK seems unreal to me. I think these are going to be special summer nights that none of us will forget! Stoked!!!”

This announcement caps off a busy week for Bowling For Soup, who recently teamed up with UK viral sensations Punk Rock Factory and alt-rockers Wheatus to release a new version of “Endless Possibility”, the main theme from Sonic Unleashed. Looking ahead to the immediate future, the band is also preparing for their biggest-ever UK headline show at the OVO Arena Wembley on December 13th, 2025.

Tickets for the ‘Bowl My Bones’ 2026 tour will go on general sale on November 28th, with pre-sales for Halifax and Llangollen starting November 25th, and other dates on November 26th. The Eden Sessions date will go on sale slightly later on December 1st.
