Norway’s biggest festival, Tons of Rock, has just made another significant lineup announcement for its 2026 event. Joining the bill are five major international acts: Yungblud, punk mainstays The Offspring, A Perfect Circle, guitarist Tom Morello, and Japanese metal outfit Babymetal.
The festival highlights the addition of British artist Yungblud (Dominic Harrison) as a major coup, noting that he will only be playing a handful of European festivals in 2026.
Jarle Kvåle, General Manager of Tons of Rock, commented: “Getting Yungblud to Tons of Rock is beyond incredible. He’ll play only a few European festivals next year, and we’re proud to be one of them. Alongside names like The Offspring, A Perfect Circle, Tom Morello and Babymetal, this lineup shows the international position Tons of Rock has achieved. 2026 will be a historic year for the festival and for Norwegian rock.”
Also joining the Ekeberg event are punk rock legends The Offspring, known for ’90s hits like “Self Esteem” and “Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)”. They are joined by A Perfect Circle, the project led by Maynard James Keenan (Tool) and Billy Howerdel, whose back catalogue includes albums like Mer de Noms and Eat the Elephant. Guitar icon Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave) will bring his signature style to the festival, alongside the Japanese metal sensation Babymetal, who will be making their first-ever appearance at Tons of Rock.
These five new additions join an already stacked lineup that spans the rock and metal spectrum. Other acts confirmed for Tons of Rock 2026 include D-A-D, Cavalera, The Pretty Reckless, Black Label Society, Apocalyptica, Death To All, Audrey Horne, Elder, Gatecreeper, and Gaerea.
