Slam Dunk, the UK’s biggest independent rock festival, has announced its second and final wave of artists for 2026, completing the stacked lineup for its 20th-anniversary event.
Kentucky hardcore heavyweights Knocked Loose have been added to the bill, joining previously announced headliners Good Charlotte and Sublime. This final announcement also features a special addition for the festival’s 20th anniversary: two new side-by-side main stages dedicated entirely to metalcore, hardcore, and post-hardcore, which will run with zero set clashes.
Over 20 other bands have also been added. The new additions include Malevolence, State Champs, Deaf Havana, Comeback Kid, Saosin, and Boston Manor. Also joining the bill are A Loss For Words, Angel Du$t, Bayside, Beauty School, Call Me Amour, Currents, Dead Pony, Dying Wish, Guilt Trip, Hands Like Houses, Heriot, and Madina Lake.
The lineup is rounded out by Origami Angel, Pest Control, Punk Rock Factory, SiM, Static Dress, Trash Boat, Vukovi, and Youth Fountain.
These artists join other heavy acts already announced, including Bury Tomorrow, Cancer Bats, and President, who will feature on the new heavy stages. Several bands are marking special occasions, with Deaf Havana set to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their album Fools and Worthless Liars. Other bands arrive on the back of recent releases, including Beauty School (October 2025’s From Now On), Dying Wish (2025’s Flesh Stays Together), and Malevolence (June 2025’s Where Only The Truth Is Spoken).
Slam Dunk Festival began as a Leeds club night in 2001 before evolving into the major multi-site festival it is today. The 2026 event will take place across the late May bank holiday weekend.
