Hella Rock Festival returns in 2026, bringing another unmissable day of high-octane rock to the HMV Empire, Coventry on Saturday 5 September 2026. The festival’s first lineup announcement features none other than Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons as headliners, with Tailgunner and Kira Mac confirmed as main support — and more acts still to come.
After a packed-out 2025 edition, Hella Rock 2026 is set to raise the bar again with a lineup that celebrates everything from classic legends to the rising stars of tomorrow.

Having had the pleasure of being behind this festival since day one and invited to sponsor and publicise Hella Rock, it’s great to see the festival grow and manage to book bigger names to allow for organic and realistic growth. I’m particularly excited to see Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons with whoever will be on vocal duties. Presumably by then, if they have a permanent vocalist, they’ll be firmly bedded in since there’s still more than ten months to one of my favourite days of the year.
If you weren’t quick enough to bag yourself some early bird tickets at the event and just shortly after, tickets have now went on sale for next year. Whilst they have increased, it’s a reflection of a quality line-up and to put it bluntly, what festival doesn’t increase their prices with the cost of everything involved going up? I certainly wouldn’t quibble at paying £30 for 8 bands – it’s still an absolute steal.
