Kin’ellfest has confirmed the first eight names for its 2026 line-up, with Seething Akira and The Five Hundred set to headline.
The two-day indoor festival will return on 2nd and 3rd May 2026 at Legends Sports Bar and Lounge in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
Launched in 2025, Kin’ellfest quickly proved a success, selling out all but a single ticket. Its creation was driven by DJ Arockalypse, known from Bloodstock and across the East Midlands scene, who recognised the lack of provision for Mansfield’s rock and metal community. After promoting live gigs for original artists since early 2024, Arockalypse Productions expanded the vision into a full festival: two days, 16 bands, and no clashes.
Despite the challenges of hosting in a small venue, Kin’ellfest has secured financial backing from local businesses The Underworld and Rastattoo, both keen to help revive the town’s live music culture.
