cleopatrick announce run of UK/IE dates for March ’25

Toronto duo (and former Band of the Day) cleopatrick today announce a UK & IE headline tour where they will take to the stage next March in Brighton, Bristol, Nottingham, Manchester, Dublin, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham and play their biggest London show to date at Electric Brixton. The announcement follows the recent release of their latest single “‘HAMMER”, the first taste from their sophomore album due in 2025.

Coming off a relentless touring schedule behind Bummer and Doom, Gruntz and Fraser took some much-needed time off, to recuperate both physically and mentally. Taking a step back allowed them the opportunity to not only move forward, but be able to take that step forward with the time and space to jam and explore in their rehearsal space, writing and demoing dozens of tracks before connecting with Weinrobe in Brooklyn.

“Ian and I were lucky to be able to take a long break where we lived some life and worked on this new music,” Gruntz adds. “During that time I was slowly able to forget that anyone was watching, and began to write stuff that existed outside of the caricature I had built in my head – whoever I thought I was, or whatever I thought this band was supposed to be. Because of that this new record is one of the clearest steps forward we’ve taken so far as artists. We’re already immensely proud of it and can’t wait to share more of the music.”

Since their inception, cleopatrick have proven themselves to be one of the most in-demand rising rock bands on the planet. They were the only band picked for Amazon Music UK’s Ones To Watch 2021, and have amassed over 100 million streams alongside multiple sell-out tours in the UK, EU and US, performed at festivals ranging from Lollapalooza and Reading & Leeds, and served as direct support to Royal Blood and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes.

cleopatrick’s gargantuan debut album Bummer received critical acclaim across the board from the likes of The Guardian, The Independent, MTV UK, DIY, Kerrang, Rock Sound, Dork and Upset. The band were also chosen as BBC Radio 1’s first ever Future Artist, with regular plays on air from tastemakers Annie Mac, Jack Saunders and Daniel P. Carter. The album also earned the duo their very first JUNO nomination for ‘Breakthrough Group of the Year’ at the 2022 JUNO Awards.

Newly energised, cleopatrick are ready to head back out not only sharing what they have been up to in the studio, but also re-interpreting the music fans have come to love over the past few years.
