UK thrash veterans Xentrix are back with a vengeance, announcing their tenth studio album, Allied With the Enemy, via Listenable Records. Arriving as a ten-track barrage of unrelenting metal, the record marks the band’s most uncompromising statement to date. Following the critical acclaim of 2022’s Seven Words, the four-piece have pushed into darker, sharper territory, delivering a collection of tracks that refuses to pull its punches.
Recorded from late 2025 into 2026 at Backstage Studios in England, the album once again benefits from the elite production work of Andy Sneap, whose signature precision and power elevate the band’s heaviest material yet. The striking artwork, created by acclaimed UK artist Dan Goldsworthy, completes a visual package built to match the record’s sonic weight. Musically, Allied With the Enemy finds the group at full force—blending atmospheric tension and crushing riffs with their classic signature bite. Lyrically, the album cuts with real intent, tackling heavy contemporary themes of disinformation, blind popularity, social collapse, and self-bias.
To celebrate the release, the band are hitting the road this winter for the Cross Atlantic Carnage UK tour alongside thrash counterparts Nervosa. The run includes a highly anticipated hometown return to the north as well as full coverage across England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland. Tickets are on sale now.
