Seattle-based heavy metal bangers Telomyras have officially released their first full-length album, Duskfall. Following the success of their debut EP, the record marks a significant evolution for the band as they sharpen their hybrid of classic heavy metal, thrash, and extreme elements into a commanding new chapter.
The album is a riff-driven metallic assault, blending aggressive guitar work reminiscent of Sanctuary and Megadeth with a dual-lead attack inspired by progressive metal. Central to the band’s unique sound is vocalist Sammie Gorham, whose classically trained opera technique provides soaring melodic highs that contrast sharply with guttural screams, accentuating the record’s more brutal moments. Bolstered by the addition of new drummer Gavynn Peterson, the band aims to redefine traditional metal boundaries with tracks like “Witch” and “The Altar.”
Duskfall was recorded by the band themselves, with mixing and mastering handled by Brad Kennaugh at Bradzilla Soundworks. The album has already garnered significant praise from the underground metal press for its complexity and ambition, with critics noting the band’s ability to bridge the gap between power metal majesty and thrash energy. The record is available now for streaming and purchase on all major digital platforms.
