Multi-platinum rock powerhouse Daughtry have announced the upcoming release of Shock to the System (Deluxe), set to arrive on 5th June 2026 via Big Machine Rock. This comprehensive deluxe edition brings together the full scope of the band’s acclaimed two-part project – originally released as separate EPs – alongside four brand-new live recordings that capture the visceral energy of their recent arena runs.
The release will be available exclusively on vinyl, with three distinct double-LP variants. Collectors can choose between a widely available blue-and-orange splatter edition, a glow-in-the-dark version limited to 250 signed copies, and a metallic silver picture disc, also limited to 250 units. The collection traces the emotional arc of frontman Chris Daughtry’s most personal era yet, moving from the industrial bite of “Artificial” to the stark vulnerability of “Antidote.”
The announcement comes on the heels of a massive UK arena tour supporting Alter Bridge earlier this year. Fans who missed that run will have a chance to witness the new material live when the band makes their highly anticipated appearance at Download Festival this summer. Daughtry is scheduled to perform at Donington Park on Friday, 12th June, joining a stacked weekend lineup featuring Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park.
We previously caught the band’s “polished arena sheen” when we reviewed their performance at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham this past March.
