For over 25 years, 100 Demons have stood as one of hardcore’s most uncompromising forces. Now, the Connecticut outfit has finally confirmed the release of their first new album in over 20 years. Titled Embrace the Black Light, the long-awaited third LP is set to drop on 5th June 2026 via Closed Casket Activities.
The album marks a significant new chapter for the band, featuring the return of Sean Martin alongside Pete Morcey, Rich Rosa, Rick Brayall, and Jeremy Braddock. To celebrate the announcement, the band has unleashed their pummeling second single, “Häxan Hammer”. While much of the new record was forged throughout 2025, frontman Pete Morcey notes that “Häxan Hammer” is actually a vintage track dealing with post-apocalyptic themes and the unlikely alliances that form at the end of the world.
Recorded at Silver Bullet Studios in Burlington, Connecticut, Embrace the Black Light was produced by Greg Thomas and mastered by Will Putney. The twelve-track collection promises to maintain the band’s signature ferocity while adding new dimensions to their sound, even featuring guest appearances from Colin and Taylor Young of Twitching Tongues and God’s Hate. If you are looking for more heavy hitting returns this summer, then this is definitely one to add to your pre-order list.
