Yungblud brings Idols tour home with spectacular Sheffield arena show

Grammy-winning superstar Yungblud brought his Idols: The World Tour home to the UK on Saturday, April 11, with a triumphant, sold-out performance at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield. Returning from massive acclaim in the US, the Doncaster-born artist celebrated his Yorkshire roots in front of a capacity crowd.

The year 2026 has already proven to be a historic milestone for Yungblud. He secured his first Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance for his rendition of “Changes,” a tribute to his mentor, the late Ozzy Osbourne. This win followed three nominations in the rock categories, making him the first British artist to achieve such a feat in a single year.

Saturday’s show was a high-octane celebration featuring pyrotechnics, confetti cannons, and mass singalongs. Opening with “Hello Heaven, Hello,” the setlist spanned his career, including hits from his chart-topping 2025 album IDOLS. A particularly poignant moment came during “Changes,” which he once again dedicated to Osbourne, emphasizing that the rock community is built on love.

Support for the UK leg comes from The Warning and The Molotovs, a teen sibling rock group. The tour continues across the UK and Ireland before concluding at Manchester’s AO Arena on April 25.
