Wes Krux explores the inner self with new single “Logos”

Singer-songwriter Wes Krux is carved out a unique spot for himself in the worlds of soft rock and indie pop, and he’s just added another layer to that with his latest single, “Logos”. This new track is a natural step forward for the Brazilian-born artist, who has spent years honing his craft as a self-taught multi-instrumentalist before finally stepping into the spotlight.

Wes has been a musician since he was just eight years old, starting out on wind instruments before picking up the guitar, piano, and even the cello. That diverse background really shows in his music, which is full of the kind of rich, atmospheric textures you’d expect from someone with a synesthetic approach to sound. “Logos” follows on from his previous release, “Caro Human”, which took a fairly philosophical look at the mess of contemporary society, touching on everything from Plato’s Allegory of the Cave to Stoic philosophy.

While “Caro Human” was more of a commentary on the collective, “Logos” turns the lens inward. It’s a more intimate affair, diving into the “awakening” that follows a period of disconnection and exploring big themes like mortality, faith, and where we all fit in. It’s less about finding easy answers and more about facing those universal questions head-on with a bit of poetic grit.

It’s been a busy year for Wes, who only made his independent debut in early 2026 with “Before I Knew Your Name”—a track that landed 37 years into his life and proved that honest music arrives exactly when it’s meant to. With “Logos”, he’s clearly cementing his identity as an artist who isn’t afraid to get a bit deep while keeping things musically engaging.
